1. Who we are

Rendermill ("we", "us") provides a tool that automatically generates, narrates and renders video content. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: visit the Support page in your account.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email address and password (stored only in hashed form) when you create an account.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used and render jobs initiated, to keep the service working and to prevent abuse.
• Content you submit — scripts, topics and settings you enter. Your scripts are used only to render your videos and are not sold or shared.
• Local rendering — videos are rendered on the server that runs your instance; footage and audio files you provide are not transmitted to third parties.

3. Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies/local storage:

• Essential — keep you logged in and remember your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
• Optional — remember your preferences (for example, pricing currency) and help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser. See the cookie banner on any page.

4. Third-party services

Text-to-speech generation may use third-party voice providers (for example Microsoft Edge voices or ElevenLabs) when you select them. In that case the text you generate narration for is processed by that provider under its own privacy policy. We never send your data to advertisers.

5. Data retention & your rights

Generated videos and job logs are kept on your instance until you delete them. You may request access, correction or deletion of your account data at any time via the Support page in your account. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on your location (e.g. EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA) you may have additional rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

6. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
